Having some fun with my nephew's ukulele. Those little suckers are tough to keep in tune. But, I learned four chords and came up with this song. The prompt was "slide to the right". I was feeling kind of lighthearted and still thinking quite a bit about my relationship with my husband, all we've been through and how grateful I am to have him as a partner in life. Life gets busy. I get hyper-focused on silly things or have this ridiculous habit of over-committing myself to everything. So, I really appreciate those moments when he and I can run off and reconnect. Writing this song was also a break from all the heavy stuff weighing on my brain.
